Give Me Your Love is a solid, flowing weighty house banger with a looped percussive groove that takes hold with a subtle trumpet hook and skilfully makes use of a looped female bluesy vocal. The underground vibe builds with clever use of a piano line and some trippy dubbed out delays. A real dance floor delight!

MA?K (Question Mark) has delivered a seriously luscious EP full of deep house warmth.
As MA?K tells us:
” The 4 tracks in my Joy E.P are inspired by my day to day moods. The tracks usually mimic my mood at the time of creation and I hope’s the listeners can feel and relate to it. ”
The first heater on the package is opening track ‘You Got’. A pure house gem that flows driven by a solid groove whilst uplifting pads introduce a deadly bass line and side-chained bass synth that build throughout the tune with a toasty vocal hook.
The temperature stays on a constant high on ‘Joy’. Skippy percussion and looped ‘Joy’ vocal take you on a journey into deep house with soft pads and an uplifting feeling of delight!
‘Give’ is a perfect addition to the EP. A Pitched down vocal sample and perky percussion strike out on a heavy bass line complemented with the perfect female addition to taking you on another deep club outing.
Finally, ‘Solace’ rounds proceedings off nicely. Rising from the start with a solid rhythm and drums. The hooky vocal sits cosily with the bass line as a rubber band of a synth line bounces around in the mix to finish off this house odyssey.

Dubai based DJ and producer Somn3um hits the dance floors once again. Returning with a double A-side of main room loveliness.
Pass You By is a future house influenced electronic gem. The male vocal and groovy percussion lead out this track with groovy tambourines, cowbells, funky guitar licks and big uplifting pads to make this rise to the top and stand out from the crowd.
Where Are We Going on the flip side has a more trancey main room feel. The sparkly female vocal introduces you into big synth lines and a relentless beat. It all breaks down continuing the uplifting feel building back into a synth lead crescendo and the catchy cleverly fx’d vocals. Lovely!
Somn3um Pass You By / Where Are You Going is released on the 22nd Feb on Somn’thing Records.

‘Someone Else’ is a bass heavy house banger. It kicks off with a solid beat and reverberating piano hook. The vocal is melodic, catchy and urban in feel. Complemented by a big, dirty bass line and side-chained filthy bass synth that delivers to add depth and power.
‘Won’t Let You Go’ on the flip is another killer bass line heavy house track, built around a cascading synth line and another hooky R&B style vocal.
