Paul Morrell makes a welcome return to the Somn’thing stable with his most accomplished release yet.
No Ordinary Love was initially produced as an instrumental record, however shortly after Paul enlisted the vocal talents of Laura White (Vocalist for Sigala / Galantis ‘Love on Me’) who also gets a co-write credit. The original instrumental track was a moody melancholic chord lead record, and Laura’s vocals add class, and give the track the feel of classic dance track reminiscent of a Chicane production?!
On completion, there was only one remix outfit in mind – Grammy Award Winning duo K-Klass!
K-Klass are synonymous with the classic Piano House sound and in true KKlass style, they have provided a driving piano club mix which utilises the full vocal and adds a completely different take on the record. Simply awesome!
Finally, the man of the moment – James Bluck, has also been enlisted for remix duties, he provides a more upfront, commercial take on the piano sound, where his trademark organ bass line delivers once again. A “pumping’, slightly more energetic version definitely with an up for it crowd in mind.
A super strong package and killer release that deserves your full attention.

Part Two of the remixes kicks off with the uplifting piano house vibes of Apollo. His remix has an anthemic, timeless quality to it. Unregular weighs in with a more laid back house feel. Breezy beats drop into classic piano and strings with a staccato’d melodic lead synth hook. Finally up and coming Froglicka jumps on board rounding off the package nicely.
The lights go down as KESH delivers a more sultry main room with real future vibes. Whilst Dale Castell keep the peak time floors full with a big ass bass line, rave sirens, fx’d vocals and an altogether more driving techy feel.

Here’s some more cracking, sun-kissed house music! Love Return’ is the highly anticipated flip side to ‘High’ from Munich based TheLavish.
‘Love Return’ is an uplifting, bass-heavy melodic house track with progressive elements built around an emotive catchy vocal.
It only seemed fitting to employ the masters of the melodic groove – Deep Matter to get to work on a song of this quality.
Deep Matter have utilised the vocal to the max, making it a focal point to their remix and by adding lush pads, swirling synths, with a phat melodic bass line they’ve smashed it out the park to create a real anthemic club friendly gem!
Here is the first part of a new ‘double-A’ side release from TheLavish.
Part 1 is all about the remix: Somn3um continue to forge a name for themselves and deliver the goods with a simply gorgeous interpretation of the new TheLavish single ‘High’. Their remix builds with an instantly recognisable looped piano that underpins the track with a very May-esque String sample to create a real white isle feel, evocative of warm summer nights and breezy festival days.
The Original mix is melodic house music with a future house slant. A tasty slice of dance that delivers in feeling with uplifting almost poolside vibes at times.
German Dj & producer TheLavish has been making music for over 15 years. He merges emotional and melodic elements into a contemporary house sound also known as Future House & Future Pop. His music has no boundaries, it is a lavish attitude to have his musical expressions also into Tropical House and Deep House productions without fear to be a rogue in the scene!
The Dubai duo cherry pick from the Original, taking the best elements from Ozzie London’s The Most, and turn in a tasty club banger. Trademark tight groove, deep bouncy bass line and faultless filtering add a tried and tested club sensibility to the package.
The lush, emotive feel of the new single ‘The Most’ can be heard from the start. The laid-back intro draws you in and steadily builds with crisp percussion and a thumping bass line with catchy female vocals. A house track full of sun-drenched vibes with a really cool yet uplifting feel and flow. It’s all about THAT bass line, which becomes the focal point of the track.
As Ozzie says: ‘when you are going through hard times and it seems like there is no end to it, and there are people who are causing it or are happy you are suffering – It is at that time that you stand and hold your drink up and have a toast to those who revel in your suffering to show your strength and that you won’t give up!”
Ozzie is no stranger to the dance floor steadily paving the way in becoming one of the UK’s most sought-after producers/DJ’s. He’s released on a variety of labels including Housesession, Let There Be House, Vamos, Tropical Velvet and Club Session in a relatively short space of time enabling him to get his name out there spreading the Ozzie London sound far and wide. Recently he has been playing at many events/clubs in the capital and surrounding areas as well as starting to gig more internationally too.
